Believe It or Not! Actual, unretouched picture of them chasing my cursor before I could escape!	The Ants Are Coming!   As you know, the weather has been real strange for the past year or so everywhere. In fact, it's been so dry in Texas, the fire ants have resorted to seeking water anywhere they can. A while back, I was working on a new page and a few climbed into my computer looking for water. Now, every time I bring up that page, there they are! They sneek out on my screen, sniff around for a couple of seconds then chase my cursor, thinking it'll lead them to water-they are that crazed! You can't get rid of them, all you can do is try to keep them away from your cursor. They've been trapped in there so long they're so dry that, if you touch one, it just crumbles and disappears. But another just takes its place. The only way to get rid of 'em is to close the window and come back here! If you go there, Watch Out! Remember, close the window to escape!
	Tail Gunner   This java applet is one of the best games we've found online. It's a space shoot-em-up and just the kind we like - aim with your mouse and click to shoot! No complicated keystrokes to master. Just clean fun. You'll want to bookmark this one...
	Asteroids   This is a classic. Just like the original Asteroids we all cut our gaming teeth on, this Java game is that keyboard classic with Hyperspace and all! Great sound, quick action!
	Lunar Lander   This is another early classic. It will have you concentrating on getting your lander safely on the surface. Just remember to be real gentle... Great sound, great action, 3 levels of gravity!
	Get-A-Gopher   The gophers are trying to destroy your beautiful lawn. Your job is to bop 'em on the head and keep them underground. No keyboard controls; Point & Click only.
	DugOut!   Another Java applet game for the kids. Your task is to gather the bags of gold before the boogies get you. Simple and Fun! Three easy instruction screens. Keyboard controls only. Hint: To start the game, first click on a help screen, then press the space bar.
	Ice Blox   If you liked DugOut!, you'll like this one. Crush the blocks of ice to get the gold coins but watch out for the Evil Flames! This is another keyboard only applet.
	Building Bridges   Another mouse controlled Java game. Try to build a red bridge from one side to the other before the computer draws a blue bridge from edge to edge. Smart computer...see if you can beat it.
	Tic-Tac-Toe   NEW BEATABLE VERSION! Always a pleasant waste of time, particularly if you're playing against our computer. You really can beat it, but you have to play smart to keep from getting tromped! The original "unbeatable" one is still available for the diehards. Both versions are Javascript
	Raoul Nachi's Party Pics   Raoul Nachi is San Antonio's version of Candid Camera and the ultimate party seeker! You'll find him at all the major events, snapping hundreds of candid photos of unsuspecting partiers. Occassionally, someone will recognize him and ask for a special shot to remember the good times and share with their on-line friends. If the food's good, he even does private parties.
	MHS Young Heroes' Club   The Methodist Hospital System's Children's Hospital has a special area on its website that's "Just4Kids" featuring games, recipes, coloring book pictures of the Young Heroes' Club characters and even a virtual tour of the hospital to help acquaint Mom, Dad and kids planning a visit. Excellent design, if we do say so ourselves...
	TJ's JukeJoint   This is a small midi-jukebox that opens in a small window and floats on your desktop so you can listen to music while you surf or work. TJ's stocked it with about a hundred tunes, all categorized for easy selection. javascript
	Texas HotSalsa   Pure Texas! Peruse a hundred or so personal HotSalsa recipes to try out or post your own favorite. This is a very popular site and full of great ideas for combining the traditional ingredients. Our personal favorite is the Corn Salsa recipe, trust us on this.
	Farmers' Markets   Now that you've found a few Texas HotSalsa Recipes to try, you're probably wondering where to go to get all the fixins... The local farmers knew you would so they gather around town to give you the best selection of home-grown fruits, veggies and peppers every day of the week. We've got the list of locations, maps and driving directions to them all right here just for you!
	Ethnic Food Markets   Figuring some of you might want to experiment a little more with your salsa or maybe whip up some special ethnic dish, we compiled a list of little known stores which specialize in ethnic foods. From Korean to Vietnamese, we've got the full list - complete with maps and driving directions right here.
	Berit's Best Sites for Children   The best collection of links for kids we've seen anywhere. This is what we would do if we had the time. But since we don't, the next best thing we can do is tell you about Berit's site. All links are described and rated on a scale from 1-5.

	Amazing 3D Stuff! Here are several sites we and others have done that bring that extra element realism to your screen-3D! Some require the red/green glasses everyone is familiar with; others present the images in cross-vision form requiring nothing but slightly crossed eyes. Some have both formats. If you don't have the glasses, try the cross-vision images. It's really very easy, just start crossing your eyes until the two images merge into a third image and, Viola!, the image will pop right out of the screen. If you'd like a set of glasses, check your local comic book store; they usually have them for about a buck.
	Molecular Expressions - Silicon Zoo   The Molecular Expressions Website features acclaimed photo galleries that explore the fascinating world of optical microscopy. They go where no microscope has gone before by offering one of the Web's largest collections of color photographs taken through an optical microscope. Visit their Photo Gallery for an introductory selection of images covering just about everything from beer and ice cream to integrated circuits and ceramic superconductors. This is where you'll find the Silicon Zoo, the site you've heard about with the pictures of the microscopic art on computer chips. Too cool!
	MUFON: Mutual UFO Network   In case you haven't heard, we're being visited by little green guys & gals. If you've been abducted by aliens, or just want to be, this is the place to get your tickets and a schedule of upcoming "beam me up" days. We're just kidding, but these guys are serious and this is the Official UFO site for the entire Milky Way Galaxy.
	The Yuckiest Site on the Internet   This site answers the questions we all have but don't have a clue as to who to ask. Well done and a lot of thought put into it. Fun and informative for all ages.
