	New Braunfels River of Lights Sundays through Thursdays from 6-9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 6-10:30 p.m. Begins November 12, 1999. 7/10th - mile lighted drive along the Guadalupe River in Cypress Bend Park. Admission is $7 for up to an eight-passenger vehicle; $15 for nine to 24-passenger vehicles (larger van or recreational vehicles); and $40 for buses.
	Christmas in Comfort Nov. 27, begins at 10 a.m. Features arts and crafts, a quilt show, food, a petting zoo and an evening parade with 120 lighted floats.

	Holiday River Barge Caroling River Walk, Nov. 27- Dec. 19, 6:30 p.m.- 9:45 p.m.
	Fiesta de las Luminarias River Walk, weekends in December, beginning at sunset. Fiesta de las Luminarias is a symbolic lighting of the way for the holy family. The River Walk will be lined by more than 2,500 glowing candles in sand-filled bags.
	Rivercenter Christmas Pageant a colorful original production of the Christmas story, will be presented on a series of beautifully decorated barges on weekends during December at the Rivercenter Mall, Fridays and Saturdays 7 and 8:30 p.m., Sundays 7 p.m., free, but reserved seating available for $10 a seat. With each presetting, benefits will go to local nonprofit organizations. Call 225-0000 for tickets.
	University of the Incarnate Word Light the Way Begins each day at sunset though Jan. 5.

26	Milam Park Christmas tree lighting ceremony Milam Park, Friday, Nov. 26, entertainment begins 4:30 p.m., speeches at 5 p.m. and tree lighting at about 5:15 p.m. Then at almost 6:30 p.m., officials will light the Alamo Plaza Christmas tree. At 7 p.m., the mayor and City Council will join to turn on the 100,000 tiny lights that adorn the San Antonio River Walk during the holidays.

26	River Walk Holiday Parade San Antonio River Walk, Friday, Nov. 26, 7-11:30 p.m. 20 festive barges will make its way along the river downtown. For ticket information, call the Paseo del Rio Association at 227-4262.

11	Annual Blessing of the Animals Market Square, Dec. 11, 2 p.m. People can bring their pets to the Annual Blessing of Animals at Market Square.
12	Las Posadas on the River Walk La Mansion del Rio Hotel, Dec. 12, 6 p.m. The reenactment of the search for shelter by Mary and Joseph on the night of the birth of the baby Jesus will begin at La Mansion Del Rio Hotel and wind its way along the River Walk to the Arneson River Theater. The public is invited to join the candle-beating procession, and to stay for the Pinata Party at Maverick Plaza in La Villita.
