This is something we've wanted to do for a long time and finally had time this past year. We went around and shot the downtown Christmas trees and the best of the hotel trees in both
and flavors. Hope you like them and visit our city during the holidays this year. But, make your reservations early. The Riverwalk lights are lighted on the day after Thanksgiving and stay on until after the first of the new year. Happy Holidays from San Antonio!
Recently opened, San Antonio welcomed the relocation of the world famous Buckhorn Museum and Saloon to their new downtown location. We snuck in while they were building it out and took a ton of photos of the exhibits for their website. We offer them to you here in both
and versions. This is just a taste of the full facility so you'll definitely want to make it a stop on your next visit to San Antonio. After you've done the tour, be sure to stop and have a bite in their restaurant area. I can vouch from first hand experience, it's one of the best in downtown SA! As soon as we get the time, we're going to do a 3D movie of the building's outside construction made over a period of several months. Gotta be another "Web First" from the Heart of San Antonio! Also, Raoul's Party Pics will be displaying hundreds of pictures from their Grand Opening Party and the historic Longhorn Stampede down Houston Street.
This is the guy who started all the madness, or at least we blame him for it anyway. Ansen's got a bunch of
photos he took some years ago while bumming around Europe. Being a professional photographer, Ansen's photos are excellent examples of what you can do with one of those old fashioned film cameras (you remember those, don't you?). He's gone totally digital and is about to announce a breakthrough in digital photography (are you listening Kodak?), but I can't tell you about that since he hasn't announced it yet and it's still secret. So, keep it quiet, don't tell anyone and, above all, don't go to his secret website.
