This is the view from the intersection of Navarro & Houston Streets from the 6th floor of the South Texas Building. From here, we have the best views of the Heart of San Antonio possible. Right below us is SA's newest super steak house, The Palm.
To our left a couple of blocks is The Alamo. If we're pointed that way, you'll see the new home for the Buckhorn Saloon & Museums, known around the world for its Hall of Horns. It's now open. When we're looking this direction, you'll be able to see the Tower of the Americas in the near distance.
Straight ahead, down a block and a half, is the hottest part of the Riverwalk, La Mansion del Rio, Planet Hollywood and Presidio Plaza dominate the right side of the bridge, Dick's Last Resort, Fat Tuesdays, County Line and the Hard Rock Cafe the left side.
If we're pointed to the right, you'll be looking west, up Houston Steet. On the left you'll see the Majestic Theatre, truly worthy of its name. At the end of the block, around the corner to the left, is the newly renovated Empire Theatre. The Riverwalk is a block and a half from us this direction too. Be sure to take our Riverwalk Tour while you're here.
KMOL (Best TV in SA) is now behind us.
